IECEx Non-Electrical: Regulatory Guide to Non-Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Locations
Building on the ATEX Directive and expanding it to a global level, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) have adopted and co-published new international standards for non-electrical equipment for use under the IECEx scheme. These standards will pave the way for non-electrical hazards to be assessed for Ex equipment used in North America.
