Intertek Reports Record Completion Rate of AHRI Program Testing in 2014

Chicago – Intertek (LSE: ITRK), a leading provider of quality and safety services to a wide range of industries around the world, is reporting high completion rates for the 2014 tests assigned to Intertek in the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Certification Programs. Over the course of the year, Intertek completed 2,757 total tests on HVAC products for the institute, and completed 99.5 percent of testing on first samples, a company record.

AHRI member companies produce more than 90 percent of residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, water heating and commercial refrigeration products in North America. These tests determine a product’s ability to conform to AHRI’s rating standards or specifications, which in turn ensure that products perform according to manufacturers’ published claims.
