Intertek provides tailored testing solutions for each segment, based on molecular biology, wet-chemistry and physical testing. Across the board we assist customers in the selection of genetic resources, verification of qualities, and securing global movements of seed.

Intertek’s DNA testing laboratories generally hold ISO 17025 and ISO 14001 accreditations. In addition, selected laboratories are certified by the New Zealand MPI to test for New Zealand seed imports, and are certified partner laboratories for multinational companies’ testing certain traits. Selected laboratories can receive samples without a phytosanitary certificate.
