As the COVID-19 pandemic has evolved, there has been a fundamental shift in perceptions toward hygiene, sanitation, and safety in hospitals. Intertek is working with hospitals to have procedures in place to prevent the spread of illness in areas such as patient rooms, surgery theaters, laboratories, administration offices, and cafeterias, in addition to educating staff and ensuring they are equipped to enact these procedures as part of an immediate preventative risk management strategy.
