EMC Testing for Food Service Equipment
Comprehensive EMC Testing for Food Service Equipment helping you access global markets
Intertek can test your food service equipment to various international EMC requirements including those of the European Union (EU), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Industry Canada, Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the Japanese Voluntary Control Council for Interference (VCCI).
If your food service equipment is electrically powered, your product may need to meet regional electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. Wherever your product will be used, EMC testing will help you to demonstrate that its emissions will not affect the normal operation of other products within the same environment. EMC testing will also help to ensure that emissions from other products will not affect the operation of yours.
Our state-of-the-art EMC testing facilities include 3m and 10m semi-anechoic chambers as well as 3m, 10m and 30m open area test sites (OATS). Our EMC compliance experts can perform pre-scans, provide assistance with troubleshooting if your product is found to be non-compliant, as well as full compliance testing
